That is a great question, and the answer is because your beloved dog still needs many of the services above, even if it is not time for them to get a haircut. There are a few different reasons why you may choose to get a mini groom over a full groom.
The first would be to avoid any major health issues your dog may experience in-between a full groom. For example, your dog may begin to get matted before their next haircut and it is important to address to avoid painful dematting.
Another reason would be to get your pup ready for public appearances! Whether it’s holiday parties or barbeque season, you want your dog looking their best. If your pooch has been running around outside, they may be extremely dirty and a regular old bath just won’t do the trick. The mini groom is a perfect solution to get your dog clean and ready for everyone to pet! read more...
What to Expect
A mini groom appointment can take up to 1-3 hours depending on the dog breed and size. The bigger your pup, the longer it can take to make sure they look perfect! Prices will also vary depending on the breed, size and hair length of your dog.
For severely matted or special needs (behavioral or medical) dogs there will be an extra cost. These appointments may take longer as we want to make sure we are treating your dog properly and with the utmost care.
Since we like to groom one dog at a time, our appointments can fill up quickly. Please make sure to call at least one day before you would like to schedule your mini groom.
We want to be as transparent as possible with our pricing and are always happy to discuss it with you.
